Psyche! Anyway, nothing really worth messing with here. But nothing awful. Needs some hops, less carbonation. The malt character tasted more typical of a lager (eg sam adams). changxao (104), South Carolina, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 13, 2006 Bottle. Pours a red-orange-amber with a slight head. Aroma is malty and slightly sweet with some hops. There are no off aromas. Mouthfeel is medium with a malty and sweet, and slightly hoppy flavor. Does not have any grainy flavors or smells. Has a nice finish. I’m quite suprised by this beer, it seems pretty nice, but the previous ratings don’t reflect these qualities. I really like this beer despite the previous judgements. I’ll buy this again. River (25), Richmond, Virginia, USA
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jun 3, 2006 It has a strawberry blonde color with a sheer hint of a white head. The aroma is on the malty side with a tad of hops. Some banana flavor with a slight hop-y tang. maniac (2628), Richmond, Virginia, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Jun 1, 2006 Clear red color with a thin off-white head. Sweet caramel aroma with nuts and light hops. Sweet nutty flavor with light hops. After getting halfway though it, you realize that it grows on you... like cancer... I’d have been happier with just a sip. Numenor (869), Richmond, Virginia, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jun 1, 2006 Updated: Jun 3, 2006Goldish red color, something’s off with it. Aroma is not that horrible, malts with some light hops. The taste is frankly not good, boring and very grainy. This is a rather poor attempt by a micro-brewery. LilKem (1210), Marietta, Ohio, USA
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | May 9, 2006 translucent amber appearance, watery thin palate. tastes like molasses and carmel. It’s not skank enough to make it to the NASCAR circuit nor is it an elite, which would offer some degree of snob appeal.
In truth, cookie cutter Killian’s Irish Red could probably go toe-to-toe with this one… and maybe even come out ahead.

| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jan 3, 2006 Bottle. Dark reddish brown and not much head. Mild aroma of caramel malt. Medium to light carbonation with a watery texture. Flavor is pretty much all malt with not much hop balance. Nothing special here.
