Medium malty flavor with a small bitter finish. tjwais (42), Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA

It poured with little head, had a sour and malty aroma (skanky, I called it) and tasted not too great. Unimpressing. tronraner (1914), Seymour, Tennessee, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Nov 27, 2005 Bottle. Pours clear red gold with white head. There is some maltiness in the nose, but the aroma is very faint. The same goes for the flavor: faintly malty, but not much there. The finish is a little bit chalky. Bah. Nothing special here. The boys a Gluek are remarkable at putting beer into a great diversity of packages. When I visited the brewery, they took me through the warehouse where the empty pallates of cans were held. I saw names of brands that I never knew existed. Lawson’s is sort of like this. It’s not really red. Sort of a pale amber. It’s not really beer. Sort of like tapwater. Slight caramel aroma, but don’t read too much into that either. The Gluek beers don’t ever get too much better, so this is pretty standard stuff for them. 21iceman40 (1731), vienna, West Virginia, USA

Tasted much like water, it honestly had little else going on. Maybe a bit of spice inside of the red colored water. Shag (1923), Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA

A very flat watery taste with a hint of either malt or some chemical poison. Im not dead yet. This is water with food coloring, what the fuck! wunderbier (1267), Tampere, Finland
| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Sep 24, 2005 Soapy, off-white head on a beer with a crystal clear amber hue. No character in the color at all. Heavy handed crystal malts, toffee, toasted, sweat socks, and ketchup aroma. The faults aren’t too strong though. Very watery and mild flavor. Lightly sweet, moderately acidic (tart/stinging) flavor. Lightly acidic, lightly bitter finish. Mineral taste. Medium-light body, watery texture, fizzy carbonation. Tastes like diluted sweet tea. | 1.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 3/20 | Aug 14, 2005 bottle. Light amber color with rapidly dissipating fizzy head. The hops are detectable in the taste, not much else to say. It’s very carbonated with a fast-fading finish of some additional slight hops. It’s a weak beer without any perks.
