had an average sized head with a barely offwhite tint. Fair lacing. The head lasted as long as i sat and watched it(not long i was thirsty) The beer itself was fairly thin in consistency with a medium red hue. The initial flavor was moderately sweet with a light bitter swallow. had a medium palate, a bit week for a red ale, had a nice dry flavor and was fairly light on the carbonation (good in my book). Overall not too bad, but not a winner in my book, would drink it again if it was offered to me but i dont think i will be spending any more money on it! Padron4KM (400), Chandler, Arizona, USA

Starts out promising, pouring out a clear reddish orange color, with a creamy smooth head. Like egg whites beaten to soft peaks. Lots of sticky lace
Aroma is mostly doughy.
Flavor is bland but metalic, like they put a fistful of pennies in a bud light.
Thankfully I also bought a Sam Smiths Oatmeal stout while I was there, so I have something to wash that taste out of my mouth with. turbo (1254), Arizona, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 15/20 | Jan 8, 2005 Bottle poured a nice copper/ amber with no head and very thin lacing.
Aroma was malty and crisp.
Sweet flavor with just a bit of a metalic taste on the palate.
Not bad at all,I could drink a 6 pack of these with no problem come summer time. Seems as it would be a good refreshing beer. Bockyhorsey (2513), Mesa, Arizona, USA
| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Jan 5, 2005 Wife picked this one for me while grocery shopping. No head to speak of. A red ale with a dark golden appearence? Would of thought it would be amber in color. Well none the less better than water to wet the whisle after a trip to the store. gjamieson (75), Canton, Georgia, USA
| 0.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 2/5 | 1/10 | 1/5 | 1/20 | Jan 1, 2005 Kroger brand beer is back. First there was Cost Cutter, now they carry Gluek’s line of garbage. All-around nasty brew, horrible skunk smell and tasted like wet cheerios. Not pleasing by any definition. eboats (887), Omaha, Nebraska, USA

I stumbled upon this tragedy when my mom decided to buy some for me for New Years. She meant well, but still doesn’t understand that beer I like isn’t limited to anything but BMC. Golden with a white head. Aroma smelled like tires that had been driving on a snowy day. Palate was very wattery and the only discernable taste was the rubber tire after taste this one left.
