4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
In celebration of international IPA day. What particularly strikes me about this one are the distinctly identifiable flavor notes. Grapefruit (as opposed to more general citrus). Pine. The former is more prominent than the latter. Overall, extremely well done in execution. Recommended! A-

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Les arômes sont tranchants, sapin, agrumes principalement, résineux en bouche avec un corps croustillant, buvabilité effrayante.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from canon. Everything is great about this beer except I'm not a huge fan is chinook apparently. I liked it and was fresh but it needed more hop variety. Was like a pine forest with a hint of grapefruit and bitter for the sake of being bitter.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
From bottle share at the Ratebeer Gallery event. Pours blonde with a modest beige head and a floral citrus aroma. There is a hearty caramel malt flavor with lots of hoppy bitterness.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
22 oz. bomber from PhillyCraft. Thanks again Vin. This one pours an orange color with an off white head. The aroma is not as "chinooky" as I might have thought. More citrus and tropical fruit with a little floral and spiciness. Sweeter malts in the background is probably from the caramunich. The flavor is the same. A bit sweet for my taste, but it’s nicely balanced with a big fruity, citrus hoppiness. A little spice. Nice bitter finish. A tasty drinker. I still can’t believe this is an all Chinook beer. Never tasted them like this before.

3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a rich golden color with a foamy three finger head. Ripe hop aromas of zesty grapefruit, sappy pine resin and clean focused malt. Nice flavor profile from front to back... starting out with a citrus forward punch and growing very piney and bitter on the backend. Tasty.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap @ The Reservoir (Waterbury). Hazy orange with a medium mostly lasting off-white head and good lacing. Aroma of grapefruits, resin/pine with floral and herbal notes. Taste is moderately sweet with grapefruits, resinous notes, herbal and floral presence and a slight to moderate bitter finish. Medium body. Moderately dry. Good IPA.
