22 oz bottle, served in a stem glass at a tasting at Greg’s. Pours clear amber with a moderate white head that fades slowly to a bare cover, leaving a moderate amount of fine lace. The nose has a big piney floral hop aroma with soft caramel and a hint of biscuit. The flavour is well balanced with notes carried over from the nose. On the palate, it is medium in body with a smooth watery texture and soft carbonation. Overall, this is a very nice East coast style IPA. 2012-09-15

JAXSON (524) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 31, 2013
From a bottle, pours orange copper with a small sticky beige head. Nose is lightly herbal hops, tropical fruits, fresh weed crystals. Mouth is sharper and quite dry, progressing from herbal to deeper fruits, then a long dry, weed-like finish. Really nice, maybe a bit too lingering but way above average.

UPDATED: JAN 26, 2013 Tap and super fresh bottle. Bottle was better than tap oddly. This rate for bottle. Notes of pine. Spruce. Bitter bright grapefruit. somewhat abrasive bitterness. not as clean as double sunshine. Taste is dank toasted caramel. Fun. Good.

Bottle shared by Kyle, thanks! Pours a clear gold with a slight amber gold with a grey head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has a nice note of earthy pine with a bit of grassy and grains backing. Flavor starts with light pine with a bit of grass underlying sweet grain.

Bottle shared by yourefragile. Thanks Michael. The beer is clear and appears golden to copper in color with a quarter inch of white head. Prominent hops in both the aroma and flavor, though a bready, grainy, malty character causes the flavor to come off as a bit muddled and unbalanced. Malty grapefruit with minimal alcohol presence. Overall, a good beer, but not among my favorites from Lawson’s, a superb brewery. Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 02-12-2012

Sampled at an esbls tasting. Thanks Kenny. There are a lot of things going on here but this is very hop-centric. They are floral and fruity. Bitterness is nice and not shy. Nsome funkiness and earth. Very nice.

Bottle at Dan’s shared with friends. Pour is hazy, golden orange with a small white head and decent lacing. Pine, grass, resin, weed, pear, and pineapple in the aroma. Taste is super dank, pine, weed, orange peel, caramel, bread, and light garlic, but nothing overpowering, ending medium bitter. Mouthfeel is sticky with high carbonation. Nice IPA!
