COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our rich American amber ale is smooth drinking and full of malty goodness. Great for those shy of the hop and a fan of full-bodied flavorful beer.
Note: Replaced by a Brown Ale under the same name in 2010.

Bottle thanks to stowehop brought at a tasting.
Appearance : Hazy amber, tiny head.
Aroma : Sweet fruits, some hops. Light notes of cooked veggies. Feels rubbery. Brown sugar.
Taste : Some hops, sweet brown sugar. Roasty and resinous. Notes of overcooked/burnt caramel. Quite crisp and dry. Finish is a bit hoppy with a light bitterness.
Overall : Nose is a bit disapointing but taste is pretty good. Quite clean and well made. Nice brown sugar taste. Well made.

Bottle… October ‘09 O-Town Throwdown!… Clear amber ale with a quickly dissipating, white head. The aromatics consist of black tea and toasted nuts with a faint nib of cocoa. Medium-bodied with tingly carbonation. Lightly sweet flavor presents brewed black tea and mocha. Lengthy, gently bitter, dry finish. Bottle courtesy of Daknole!
