Sample at Falling Rock Beer Tasting with Dr. Bill on 10/13/2012. Hazy golden pour with a medium thick fluffy white head that dissipates slowly. Patchy lacing on the glass. The aroma consists of pineapple, sweet malt and hops. Medium-bodied with a tropical fruit character and notes of biscuit malt and grassy hops. The finish is fruity with a citrusy hops aftertaste. Very good all around.

Poured from a 22 oz bottle got at the farmers market. Taste is packed with light tropical flavors, not as hoppy as the average dipa. Amazing beer and worth the wait. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle shared at Sander’s in NYC. Pours clear gold with a crothy white head. Smells unbelievable. Loads of juicy citrua, mandarin orange, straw, pale malts. Medium sweet flavor, lots of juicy and somewhat gooey citrua fruits, a bit of bitter citrua rind, grapefruit, melon, orange. Medium bodied with creamy carbonation. Restrained resinous finish, glorious citrus fruits, grapefruit, orange, sweet pale malts. Well, I think this beer is unreal. Wonderful stuff.

On tap at Prohibition Pig: pours hazy golden with a thin white head. Aroma citrus heavy. Flavor is grapefruit, mango and pepper on the back end. Malt balances the hops well. Full flavor, perfectly carbonated this is an awesome beer.

Not sure how I haven’t rated this. Bottles and on draft. Golden pour with white head. Super citrus and light herbal and fresh grassy hop aromas. Flavor follows, delicious and solid double ipa.

Bottle w/ Coozie. Aroma though bottle nose is intense tropical fruity with a touch of pine. Taste is very fruity bitter with a full body and balanced but bitter finish. Very nice.

Thanks to my cousin for pouring this beauty! A rich & complex IPA with lots of subtle flavor elements - fruity sweetness, pleasant bitter nip, orange, cranberry. Excellent.

Des malts à demi-sucrés qui supportent des exubérances fruitées et herbacées. Vraiment l’équilibre comme signature pour Lawson’s.
