lawson’s finest dunkel. 22oz bottle from a recent trade.batch 166, bottle number 19... pours a semi-murky reddish amber brown pour with a thin film of frothy white head. aroma: banana and grains mostly. nothing overly complex for that matter flavors are wheaty, almost with some faint lemon, with banana coming through towards the middle on through the finish. prickly lively carbonation with a semi-thin body. 6/3/6/3/13

Nose is caramel maltiness, a little banana & clove, some apple, a little unami. Flavor is slightly grapey malt, a bunch of alcohol astringency, some clove, a little too bitter. Finish lacks depth and has some apple with a little old nuttiness.

22oz bottle pours a hazy, burnt orange with a creamy, white head. Nose is wet malts, German yeast, lightly herbal. It smells like a brewhouse. Flavor is sweet, malty, fall fruits, wet grains. Medium bodied, sweet finish.

22oz (?) courtesy of nimbleprop. Pour is a hazy amber with a healthy off-white head. Aroma of cinnamon apples, sweet golden delicious apples, raisins, toffee malt. Taste is cinnamon apples, mostly void of substance. Chalky, thin, seltzer palate.

50cl bottle, thanks nimbleprop. Murky copper body topped by small beige head. Aroma is moderately sweet, caramel, some wheat. Taste is moderately sweet, caramel, light wheat, seltzer. Light-medium body.

Nice fresh, doughy malt, and light golden fruit/grape nose. Taste is lightly sweet, lightly bitter with dough, light honey, some golden raisins and a bit of champagne on the finish. Pretty nice.

Bottle courtesy of brad - thank you sir! Murky light brown, off white edge head. Aroma of bubblegum. Flavor is wheat, light spice, caramel. Not bad.
