On tap at three penny. Pours out black topped with a tan head. Nose is big roast malts maple syrup sweetness coffee. Taste is more of the heavy roast malts chocolate sweetness maple coffee rich and chewy.

Roasty malty and maple aroma. Pours a nice black color with tan head. A really nice stout with a maple edge (as expected).

Shared bottle at Craft. Pours hazy black with tan head. Nose is roasty dark malt, cacao, vanilla, oak. Tastes rich, with dark malt, tannins, vanilla, molasses, maple, and a smooth finish. Medium in palate heft with well hidden alcohol.

Tsted from the tap on the 04/03/2016 at the BCN Beer Festival. Black colour with a medium beige head. Aroma of espresso coffee, roasted malts and little caramel. Taste is medium sweet with lots of coffee, maple notes and roasted malts. Medium carbonation and strong coffee finish. Next one please!

On tap at Mule Bar, Winooski, VT. Deep, chestnut brown. Velvety, thin, glossy, mocha head that sticks all the way down the glass. Nose has caramel truffle. Fudge. Maple syrup. Chocolate fudge cake. The full works. Bit of a cheesecake tang to it. Taste is tangy, fruity, dark chocolate bitter. Light dryness. Some sweetness, but no way as much as the aroma might suggest. Silky palate. Drinks way under the ABV. Finishes long, truffly, chocolatey, light bitter. The sweetness kicks in right at the end. Super stuff.

From bottle at GABF 2015. Pour is deep brown with a small tan colored head and good lacing. Light maple, dark chocolate, espresso, some vanilla, light coconut, brown sugar and toffee in the Aroma. Taste is big dark cocoa, coffee, light maple, vanilla, toffee, caramel, and raisins. Slick mouthfeel with soft carbonation. Tasty stuff, but could really benefit from a little more body.

Very dark brown, minimal tan head. Aroma cocoa, dark sugars. Full body, some appropriate alcohol. Flavors of chocolate, espresso, a bit of maple. Strong of course but nice balance. Excellent.

Bottle to the face. Pours black with tan head. Sweet aroma but not the maple I wanted. Taste is sweet, chocolate, some sweetness from the maple. Have had better maple stouts before.
