COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Made from a choice mix of apples selected for hard cider, using sweet, bitter, and sharp varieties. Blended and pressed by Lost Meadow Cidery of Calais, VT. Fermented with 100% champagne yeast. No added sugars. Contains sulfites. 7.5% alc/vol. "Straight from the Green Mountains to your head"

Interesting dry cider. Aroma is sweet apples and spice. Taste is much different with a very tart dry apple flavor that finishes puckeringly tart.

On tap at lawsons anniversary party. Very tart and not overly sweet. Tastes like apples. Holy shit.

Bottle at a tasting at James’ place. Pours a clear gold. Soft apple and light funkiness. Apple, crisp and bright, nice body. Soft light funk on the finish, medium bodied, crisp and a lovely amount of acid.

Bottle shared by Steve at tasting at my house. Pours clearish gold. Nose/taste of granny apples, McIntosh apples and light maple. Some sugar from the apples. Mostly dry in the finish. Medium body.

UPDATED: NOV 6, 2011 Bottle # 3. Waxed cap, no cork. Filtered, bright gold color. Frothy cap. Bubbly. Smells English. Perfumey, mashed apples. Hay, vanilla, yeast, cream. Tastes of Irony/minerally bittersweet apples. (Salty?) Sharp & leafy apples, becoming dry, on a grainy yeast finish. Earthy. Very minerally. Sulfites aren’t too bad. I like it. Tart & only moderately acidic. Drinks well. Thanks Al. :)
