Pours a slightly hazy, dark golden orange color with golden apricot edge and a one finger frothy white head that slowly settles into a thin, lasting ring. Minimal spotty lacing left behind. Dank and luscious with floral hops, sticky resins and a sweet citrus/tropical fruit presence countered by a pale malt backbone. Very earthy with sticky pine needle and fresh cut grass. The resinous notes are followed by stone fruit and citrus sweetness. Hints of tangerine, mango, pineapple, grapefruit and lemon pith along with some bread, biscuit and crackery grains. Full bodied and slightly boozy with dank, piney resins and sweet citrus/tropical fruit notes countered by pale malt backbone. Grassy pine needle and earthy spruce tip bitterness followed by hints of melon, mango, pineapple and papaya. Also a bit of ruby red grapefruit and citrus zest. The sticky resins and sweeter notes are balanced by biscuity light malts and grainy cracker. Subtle caramel sweetness. Very well balanced with a nicely masked ABV making this beer deceptively drinkable. Not in the same class as some of their other IPAs, but another solid offering from Lawson’s.

22 oz. bottle from ndaniels13. Thanks again dude! It pours a rich golden color with a big, frothy white head. The aroma has some tropical fruity hops, a little floral and spice character along with a decent amount of caramel malt. The flavor is awesome. Sweet hoppy grapefruit, passionfruit, a little spice and caramel. Very smooth, full body with a snappy finish. Bitterness is low and hop flavor is high. It borders on a bit too malty for my tastes, but its so darn tasty, I don’t care. A great beer.

22 oz. bottle, sent from Glouglouburp (thanks a lot, Dany), pours a cloudy opaque golden orange with a small white head. Nose brings out tangy hops, lots of dankness, and kiwi-like fruit. Flavour is super fresh, with tropical fruits, especially kiwi, tangy dank hops, and light citrus. Dry, tangy and bitter. Excellent stuff.

Bottle shared by Lunch. Thanks Paul. Hazy golden orange body with a thick, white head. Aromas of fresh hops, tart citrus zest. Delicious flavor. Lime, grapefruit, kiwi. Medium bodied with mild bitterness. Certainly hop forward with a malt backbone, but definitely a hop showcase. Dank hops = awesome. Winner.

Sampled at SIPtemberFest. Another big hoppy beer from Sean. The Nelson Sauvin hops give this beer and interesting and somewhat unique flavor that I really like.

A: Amber/Golden Straw Hue, Passes Some Light, White Head, Some Lacing S: Resin, Onions T: Resin, Onions M: Average Carbonation, Medium Bodied, Semi Bitter, Mildly Oily Overall, for the hops used, it was decent but the type of hops didn’t make me want to finish the bottle.

651mL shared at Woodshop 8. Pours a clear, light golden. Okay foam. Nose is cedar wood, squashy. Taste is cedar, dry, long Brasil nut bitter finish. Aggressive, but clean. Powerful bitterness. Dry hopped character faded.

Bottle at Eric’s. Pours a slightly hazy golden body with thin white lacing. Aroma is perfect citrus hop. Awesome! Mouthfeel is sessionable while retaining so many juicy flavors; cheese, Nelson, fresh cut grass, pine resin and citrus fruits. Incredible.

From a 22 ounce bottle shared. Tropical fruit that is big in the nose and taste. Fruity and hoppy. Clear orange body. Extremely tasty.
