Pours a murky golden orange color with a big white head. The aroma is filled with bright orange fruits, candied grapefruit, and earthy spicy hops. On the palate, the Hops are juicy and citrusy with some cheese rind funk. All of this is balanced by super sweet fruity malts. Dangerously quaffable.

Sampled at SIPtemberFest. Another big hoppy beer from Sean. The Nelson Sauvin hops give this beer and interesting and somewhat unique flavor that I really like.

A: Amber/Golden Straw Hue, Passes Some Light, White Head, Some Lacing S: Resin, Onions T: Resin, Onions M: Average Carbonation, Medium Bodied, Semi Bitter, Mildly Oily Overall, for the hops used, it was decent but the type of hops didn’t make me want to finish the bottle.

651mL shared at Woodshop 8. Pours a clear, light golden. Okay foam. Nose is cedar wood, squashy. Taste is cedar, dry, long Brasil nut bitter finish. Aggressive, but clean. Powerful bitterness. Dry hopped character faded.

Bottle at Eric’s. Pours a slightly hazy golden body with thin white lacing. Aroma is perfect citrus hop. Awesome! Mouthfeel is sessionable while retaining so many juicy flavors; cheese, Nelson, fresh cut grass, pine resin and citrus fruits. Incredible.

From a 22 ounce bottle shared. Tropical fruit that is big in the nose and taste. Fruity and hoppy. Clear orange body. Extremely tasty.

Bottle... Hazy, amber ale with a small, creamy, white head. Good retention. The fruity bouquet is a hoppy blend of peach, apricot and tangerine peel, flanked by a restrained measure of musky lupulin. Full-bodied and lightly creamy with modest carbonation. The flavor is bitter, offering both fuzzy and citrus fruit tannins povided by the beer’s hop bill and schedule. Finishes bitter and tannic with a tongue-numbing characteristic. Big-time THANKS to landhoney for sharing this bottle!

In short: A extremely hoppy fruity blond IPA that is an explosion of freshness. Wonderful beer that is a lot more than just a hop-fix.
How: Tap at Reservoir, Waterbury VT.
The look: Partly cloudy dark blond body topped by a small white head.
In long: The highly aromatic hoppy nose is an explosion of exotic fruits, a bouquet of fresh flowers. Taste has a very solid malt backbone with flavors of semi-dry baguette, dense all grains crackers, fresh honey and fresh pale cookies. Somehow the cereals manage to shine in this over-the-top hoppy beer. Hops and more hops, tangerines, grapefruits, flowers, lime. Bitterness level is very high and therefore a bit aggressive but somehow the beer remains scarily drinkable. This is a addictive dry-hopping bomb and bittering hops bomb. A wonderful beer that goes over the top without feeling brutal. Full chewy body with plenty of carbonation. Maybe it was because of he freshness (had it on tap) but this glass was the most intensely hoppy Lawsons I’ve ever had, and I’ve been drinking Lawsons stuff for years. Not sure why Lawson’s named this beer after this lame fruit, kiwis are just lazy limes that don’t shave.

Cheers again to Leighton for the New England haul.Light haze on this gold - amber beer. Little pale cream coloured head. Light airy palate, semi dry. Trace of malt cream. Trace of hop skunk. A little sweet mango and bitterish peel. Mellow sweet tangerine. Aftertaste is medium bitter. Good stuff!

Bottle thanks to Leighton. It pours golden orange with medium white head. The nose is urine, fresh mint, earth, pine, salty edge and orange squash. The taste is pithy citrus, metal, resin, tangy marmalade, orange and grapefruit with a bitter citric finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Pretty tasty. A solid Double IPA.

Bottle shared with friends. Not sure how fresh this bottle was but that’s not the point really, I’m just glad I was able to land a bottle. Good hop presence, both in the aroma and flavor. Slight citrus and grapefruit with a nice malt backing. Pretty delicious.
