(Rating #5304)

My Bottom Line:
Three-dimensional cereals support leafy hop resins and their citrusy angles in this highly engaging Harvest Pale Ale.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A creamy sheet of foam covers the hazy golden.
-The malt profile on this one is amazingly well developed. I expected the hops to be more salient (this is a Lawson’s brew, after all), but instead I got a marvel of balance and clarity of expression. Impossible to complain. ;)
-Carbonation is cushy, perfectly calculated for the mild residual sugar level.
-Those looking for a fresh hop bomb might be disappointed somewhat with this one...

Bottle.

Bottle at Sander’s place in NYC. Pours clear, copper-red with a fine, creamy white head. Engaging pine and orange citrus aroma. Light to medium sweet flavor with some earthy grass, toasty bread and dried out citrus. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Mildly resinous finish with earthy, lightly gritty bitterness, toasty malts and further dried citrus. So so.
