Bottle (bomber with fancied foil) from the Lushest of Shawns.
The pale ale pours a golden color with a medium sized, well retained, tight head that leaves a nice lacing on the glass.
The aroma is lightly sweet, very pleasantly floral with some big grapefruit notes. Very bright smelling, very inviting.
The flavor is plenty bitter and far drier than the aroma lets on. Some light toasty malt is noticeable and enjoyable but this one is pretty hoppy with lots of grapefruit, key lime, and melon flavors. The beer has a sort of snappiness to it that I can’t quite put my finger on. It’s not bitterness, but it works right along side it. Oh my goodness my notes are getting away from me I’ll just stop dissecting the flavor of the beer now.
I could easily drink a great number of pints of this were I ever in a place where it was on drought. In fact I’m totally shocked at how good this beer tastes. And by shocked I mean completely unsurprised in any way, shape, or form.

22 oz. from the Booyamachine. Beautiful representation of a pale ale. I originally tried this at a crazy beer tasting event that was filled with DIPAs and imperial stouts and so it kind of got lost in the shuffle. Now that I’m able to focus my full attention on it I am smitten with its even body, caramelly undertones, and floral hops. Finest indeed.

Bottle shared by Paul. Thanks man. Served in a Lawson’s Finest Liquids snifter because that’s how this guy rolls.
The beer is golden copper in color with nearly an inch of white head. The aroma brings a balance of bready malts and piney hops, with the hop character taking a slight lead. I really enjoy the flavor of this beer. Beautiful balance and finish. Biscuits and floral notes. Light in body and smooth sailing on the palate. Another tasty brew from Vermont. Good times.

Thanks, Michael. Leafy hops with a bit of earth. Some bread in the background. Flavor is a bit resinous. Fairly dry and quite bitter in the finish.
