Bottle at the parentals. Pour is clear golden orange with a big white head and great lacing. Toasty, husky, grassy, lightly citrusy, bready, straw, fruit peel, and biscuity aroma. Taste is grassy, citrusy, grapefruit, orange peel, caramel, bread, light weed, and straw with a light bitter finish. Medium body with soft carbonation. Great flavor for a sessionable APA.

draft @ Prohibition Pig. Tulip show a clear amber appearance. With quickly fading white head. Nose is a fresh orange peel with light caramel notes. Hints of citrus and spices. Strong orange peel, caramel and piney hop bitterness. Well done! Medium body and really easy to drink.

Bottle (bomber with fancied foil) from the Lushest of Shawns.

The pale ale pours a golden color with a medium sized, well retained, tight head that leaves a nice lacing on the glass.

The aroma is lightly sweet, very pleasantly floral with some big grapefruit notes. Very bright smelling, very inviting.

The flavor is plenty bitter and far drier than the aroma lets on. Some light toasty malt is noticeable and enjoyable but this one is pretty hoppy with lots of grapefruit, key lime, and melon flavors. The beer has a sort of snappiness to it that I can’t quite put my finger on. It’s not bitterness, but it works right along side it. Oh my goodness my notes are getting away from me I’ll just stop dissecting the flavor of the beer now.
I could easily drink a great number of pints of this were I ever in a place where it was on drought. In fact I’m totally shocked at how good this beer tastes. And by shocked I mean completely unsurprised in any way, shape, or form.
