375 ml bottle. Aroma is real nice, coconut, dark chocolate and mild maple syrup. The body is what I look for in the style, thick, rich and full. The base stout I have always liked and the rum treatment although is light is indeed there. Vanilla, mild oak, notes of rum. Pretty rich and sweet flavor but never cloying. Very nice.

12.7 oz bottle. Dark brown with a fading tan head. Nose is rum, wood, hints of maple, ash and molasses. Smooth medium body with a tang and building heat. Taste is rum, chocolate, maple and burnt sugar. The rum brings out the sweetness of the maple.

Bottle thanks to Leighton. It pours near-black with a tiny tan head. The nose is rich, filthy, decadent, lots of dark fruits, rummy fun, mild smoke wood, rum & raisin ice-cream and toffee. The taste is smooth, rich, roasted malt, dark fruits, earth, dark chocolate, toffee and burnt caramel with a sweet, warming finish. Full body, fine carbonation and oily mouth-feel. Drinks rather well given the style. Tasty.

Bottle shared in London - picked up in a trade. Pours oily black with a frothy brown head. The nose holds some cocoa, toasted coconut, dark fruits, raisins. Medium to big sweet flavor with creamy vanilla, rich bread, chocolate, light burnt earth, roast. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Nicely balanced on the finish, some further creamy vanilla, rich chocolate, fruitcake, dark bread, ripe dark fruits. I find it outrageously drinkable and decadent. Wonderful.
