German for "strong beer" Lawson’s weizenbock style ale is a dark, spicy, and strong wheat bier. It is brewed with all imported German malts, noble hops, and special weizen strain of ale yeast. A fitting tribute to Stark Mountain and her mad legion of fans.

22oz bottle - thanks Josh for sharing. Poured a medium mahogany color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of cloves, bananas, and nuts. Tastes of the same.

Hazy brown color with a small, off white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of banana, clove, vanilla, caramel malts, and nuts. Taste of spicy clove, sweet banana, bubblegum, caramel, nuts, and light alcohol.

Thanks to Josh for sharing this one. Pours a hazy brownish amber with a smaller off white bubbly head. Aroma of banana, clove, toasted malt and nuts. Flavor of teh same. Nice creamy mouthfeel.

Dark brown pour with a one finger beige head. Aroma is sweet corn with some toasty malt and raisin dark fruit- quite sweet and vegitative. Flavor is more creamed corn, fig, loads of spice and some dry bitter roasted barley and wheat malt. Palate is medium bodied with high effervescence and a clean chalky finish. Very interesting and unique- odd but enjoyable.

Dark brown pour with a one finger light tan head. Aroma holds tons of sweet corn, along with notes of wheat, a bit of dark fruit, and spice. Flavor holds lots of corn again, with some more spice and roast at the finish. Strange how dominant the corn flavor is. Not too complex, but not a bad quaff. Palate is fairly light, and the alcohol is hidden nicely; lots of carbonation, but not too much. A decent brew, nice to support a small local brewery.
