Gold-orange-red hue, wispy off-white lace. Maple. And bourbon. And more maple. A bit watery, yet still plenty of flavor. Needs more body too.

375, stupid wax on cap, anything that slows beer to mouth annoys me. Anyways, thin and boozy, slight sourness that tastes unintended. Moderate caramel complexity. Its Aight.
1 hour later, still at it, its really growing on me a lot. The caramel body is charming. really like maple syrup type notes in there. I like it. +.2 pts/

Aftertaste: sweet, fruity, ripe to overripe banana, some cookies, almonds, alcohol, little sour, sugary, some honey, vanilla, bourbon, sour apples, some alcohol.

375 ml. bottle split by 3 @ “Memorabel Tastingkje”. Obtained in a trade with AdamJackson! Dark brown amber with little head. Lots of molasses in here with an almost liquorish quality to in the nose, very sweet brown sugar with a spoon full of bourbon vanilla, cereal, toffee. Taste is very heavy on maple (the whole feels barely beer-like), dark grapes, lots of cinnamon, thick apple juice, toffee, light molasses,, lots of oak vanilla, bubblegum, toffee, nutmeg, light yam, sweet maple, low carbonation, thinner body than expected. Almost maple syrup with added flavours, very nice, quite far removed from beer taste-wise (not a critique but more of an observation). Very interesting & very nice beer and exactly how I hoped that this would be like.

Poured from bottle into tulip: Pours dark amber / brown with a thin tan head. Aroma heavy maple syrup with a little vanilla. Taste is maple, bourbon, cereal, and caramel. Not overly sweet. Body was thinner than I expected with was good and bad (more bad I think). Medium body, low carbonation, decent beer.

Smells really rich and maple syrup heavy with light bourbon, bread, and caramel. Taste is very sweet as expected with some light barrel notes. I like it.

375ml bottle pours dark opaque burnt brown with red edges and a finger of tight foam. Nose is rich maple, bread, grain, subtle sweet malt, light bourbon spice. Taste is tasty semi-sweet malty bread, pacakes with syrup and lingering notes of maple, dark fruits, touch of oaky spirit spice, and some sticky sweetness. Yum!
