cazort (376), Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA Mar 7, 2005 Updated: Sep 22, 2005 This is my favourite of the lighter non-alcoholic brews. Heavily carbonated but the carbonation is soft. The barley malt is complimented by a fairly rich corn flavour. However, unlike in some NA beers, the corn flavour is rich, not thin. Hoppy but not bitter. This one really blew me out of the water; most NA brews don’t even come close, and I feel lucky that I’m able to buy it locally--it was not easy to find. Look in Arab specialty stores.
dunkpigen (311), Kolding, Denmark Feb 17, 2008 Bottle @ the wolf tasting. Clear with a very thin head that disappears quickly. Aroma of tomato !? and the taste is very watery and a hint of iron. Not at good beer! ChristianScheffel (2318), Odense, Denmark Nov 27, 2007 Light yellow beer with disappearing white head. Tomato juice dominates the aroma, with a hint of grain. Sweet flavour again with grain and tomato. thewolf (4156), Kolding, Denmark Nov 25, 2007 Bottle @ tasting at my place.
[thank you, faroeviking]
Pours a clear pale golden with no head. Aroma has tomato-juice, hay and corn. Watery palate. Thin flavour, sweet and artificial, hay and iron... not good. yespr (7817), Copenhagen O, Denmark Nov 20, 2007 28 cL bottle, thanks to faroeviking. Pours clear yellow with a fizzy white head. Aroma is strange dry cardboardish. Flavour: darkish malt to vegetable. dry cardboardish, rotten vegetable and grainy. Ends bland. Bad. faroeviking (4589), Faroese Autonomous Beer Republic, Denmark Nov 17, 2007 Updated: Nov 26, 2007Bottle bought close by Nørrebro station. Copenhagen. Pours a pale golden colour, no head. Sweet grainy aroma. Bit sweet grainy flavour with grains, grains and grains. Dry grainy finish. The lemon version is somewhat better.
Tasted again (ya..why?) @ the wolf tasting. This bottle was just as bad as the other one I tasted but the positive things was the tomato juice aroma and bit in the flavour..... strange. Bothe bottles were bought at the same time.
