AlabastorJones (634), San Francisco, California, USA Apr 24, 2008 Golden orange color, thin to no white head, not cloudy!?! Where’s the yeast?!? Smells like abbey ale yeast, ripe bananas and sweet malts, sweet caramel flavor, butter toffee, slight tart finish, mild malt finish, this is a good well balanced ale, can’t hold a candle to most belgians though, but this is a very worthwhile brew for a belgian from the northwest! tastey and warming
