Pours crystal clear copper with lasting off white head. The aroma is light and mostly caramelized malts and almost no hops. The taste has a nice pine hop bitterness right up front followed by mild roasty malts. The whole experience kind of fades into the finish. The after taste has a mild hop bitterness that lingers for a while.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Courtesy IBrew2or3. Thanks Dave! Pours a semi-clear amber with a small off white head. The flavor was noticeably sweet to go along with the hops. The hops were more subtle in the smell. They have a more profound existence in the flavor, however. Alot of grapefruit hops were the most prominent, along with other citrus and bitterness. Nice little session IPA.

Bottle courtesy of liquid solutions. Huge hop nose upon pouring that quickly dissipates. Piney hop flavor, but a tad watered down.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20
Cloudy dark orange appearance. Very fresh smell and taste. Really flowery flavor. Not balanced enough for a regular IPA if you ask me. Still a good IPA though. Would like to revisit this one some day.

Orange amber with a small off white head. Candied citrus, some pine, and caramel malt in the aroma. Resinous pine up front. Sweet fruity hop character later manifests. Some biscuit and caramel with a lingering bitterness in the finish. Mouthfeel is light medium, rather dry.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: JAN 13, 2008 22oz via Capital Market. THis one comes out a clear copper with a large beige head. Nose is floral hops. Taste starts out malty, biscuity, and then floral/herbal hops, some orangepeel & grapefruit with a somewhat metallic aftertaste. It is pretty bitter which is likely due to the Chinook hops. I think this would be better if they cut back on the Chinook and instead increased the Amarillo in the late flavoring additions. But whatever, i am a frakkiin homebrewing hophead so screw what i say. Is a damn good beer and much better than most IPAs. Body is light, carbonation is high. An easy drinking, highly sessionable above average Pac NW IPA.
