3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
22 fl oz bottle, courtesy of Papsoe. Pours hazy orange with huge white head. Mild citrusy to peachy aroma. Smooth yeasty and hoppy fruity flavoured with a mild citrusy note. Goes into a very dry hoppy and acidic dry flavoured finish. Quite dry hoppy brew.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. [Tasting session @ Papsoe, 31-10-2008] Huge thick foamy head that really lasted. Excellent display of lacework. Hazy golden color. Aroma of chewy hops, with notes of grapefruit, peach, citrus and mild grass. Medium bodied with an average carbonation and mild dry texture. Moderated bitter and sweet flavor. Good dry bitter finish.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Thick amber with no real lasting head or lacing. Smell is quite light and a touch floral. Flavor is hoppy and sweet but not very bold or overpowering. Mouthfeel is average - perhaps a touch above. Medium carbonation. Overall, it is decent - but just a bit boring.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Copper colored pour with a decent hop profile but a metallic taste that detracts far too much from the flavor. Feels like it might taste better from the tap and if I ever see it at a bar I’ll give it another shot. Just lacking that certain something from the bottle though.

3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a rich cloudy amber with a small beige head. Smell is muted, dull, and perhaps slightly old hops and mostly caramel at this point. Taste is much hoppier and the smell. Nic sharp, crisp bitterness and a dry, hoppy and clean flavor. Decent mouthfeel and crisp carbonation. Toasty grasy bitterness and pretty nice overall, and I can imagine this being a very good IPA when super fresh.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Clear copper with nice frothy head and lacing. Metallic piney hop aromas come off the nose but arent exceptionally potent. Nice hoppy backbone to the brew, with light grapefruit and woodsy notes but they don’t develop or come around as they aren’t entirely well balanced by other factors. The upfront hops are nice but it ends up yeilding a drying flatness. Still not bad though good for the style for sure.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a copper color with a white head. Aroma of bitter hops, citrus fruit, and caramel. Taste was very bitter, but balanced nicely with the caramel and malt tastes. A very good IPA.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
I missed the boat on the point. A wonderful concept on growing local, but a generally unimpressive hop profile.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
22oz bomber split with Ann. Murky, thick orange-brown color with a nice foamy head. Fresh, hoppy aroma. Big, chewy WIPA. Certainly well hopped, with a full bodied malt backbone. Earthy, rich, and heavy.
