leitrim65 (396), Seattle, Washington, USA Jun 18, 2007 Dark in the room I tried this one in but the beer appeared to have a nice clear mahoganey color with a large ivory head. Aromas of sweet malt and caramel, along with grassy hops come through in the nose. Well balanced with sweet malt and caramel flavors immediately apparent, but quickly succomb to a good strong hit of grassy, herbacious hops. The finish is sharp and long lasting hop flavors on the palate. Nice but a bit too harsh in the finish.
Ungstrup (11713), Frederiksberg, Denmark Nov 27, 2008 Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma is sweet malty, and so is the flavor, leading to a dry bitter finish. Thanks Papsoe for sharing. Papsoe (11076), Frederiksberg, Denmark Nov 18, 2008 (Bottle 65 cl) Courtesy of bu11zeye. Hazy amber golden with a dense and stable off-white head. Fresh citrusy nose. Medium body, quite fruity with some vitamin-C notes and a rather bitter finish. 311008 yespr (7817), Copenhagen O, Denmark Nov 1, 2008 22 fl oz bottle, courtesy of Papsoe. Pours hazy orange with huge white head. Mild citrusy to peachy aroma. Smooth yeasty and hoppy fruity flavoured with a mild citrusy note. Goes into a very dry hoppy and acidic dry flavoured finish. Quite dry hoppy brew. Grovlam (3325), Copenhagen, Denmark Oct 31, 2008 Bottle. [Tasting session @ Papsoe, 31-10-2008] Huge thick foamy head that really lasted. Excellent display of lacework. Hazy golden color. Aroma of chewy hops, with notes of grapefruit, peach, citrus and mild grass. Medium bodied with an average carbonation and mild dry texture. Moderated bitter and sweet flavor. Good dry bitter finish. pintsize (1042), Austin, Texas, USA Oct 23, 2008 9-27-08 bottle <br />
Thick amber with no real lasting head or lacing. Smell is quite light and a touch floral. Flavor is hoppy and sweet but not very bold or overpowering. Mouthfeel is average - perhaps a touch above. Medium carbonation. Overall, it is decent - but just a bit boring.
