Objectively speaking: Fruity, sweet, but growingly dry IPA that is less clean than expected.
I like: High drinkability. Easy-going hop flavours that you’ve met in countless other examples. Earthy more than caramelly, thus finishing rather dry.
I dislike: Rather simple juicy malts, more pale than crystal. Fairly yeasty for an IPA.

Citrus and spicy hops blend well with malt sweetness in the nose. Hazy copper coloured body is topped by a shy white large bubbled head that recedes rapidly to ring with scant lace. Flavour is as the aroma suggests with moderate to strong bitterness, citrus and spicy hop character and some caramel sweetness. Bitterness lingers. Medium light body with moderate carbonation is quite dry and somewhat thin for my taste. Seems like it could use a bit more malt character to support the hop bill. Snifter. Just above fridge temperature. Bottle purchased at Brewery Creek in February 2013.

650 ml bottle. Pours amber with medium head that settles quickly. Aromas of malts, toffee, and and little melon and citrus. Malty flavor, with a bit of lemon and final bitter finish. Good,, but pretty common stuff now.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear, copper colored body with a finger-width, frothy, off-white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice lacing. Aroma is earthy and citrusy pines with a light caramel and a slight metallic note. Flavor is similar. Heavier earth and citrusy pines with a slight metallic note and a lightly sweetened caramel malt backing. Finishes dry and moderately bitter before leaving a lengthy aftertaste. Medium body and a moderate carbonation. Overall, a decent IPA. Well hopped, but a bit metallic and not overly complex. Not bad though.

22oz bottle. Pours a reddish copper with light white head. Aroma of caramel malts with citrusy hops. Flavor is dominated by the hops, with a grapefruity flavor. Moderate bitterness. Pretty good, but perhaps just a tad too tart.

On tap at The Met in New West. Quite dark for an IPA. An off-white head. Well hopped, but not over the top, with substantial malts in the background. I quite like it.

Poured from the tap. Hoppy aroma and taste, but lacks the hit and finish of an excellent hoppy beer.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a clear copper with a small beige head. Aroma is a bit metallic, with copper, stale malts and little if any hop character. Flavour is very metallic, in the sense of the cask seeming off. Definitely something wrong with this. I’ll revisit this if I get ten opportunity but this is pretty poor.

Bomber. The name of the brewery kind of says it all. Lazy. Lacks any sort of hoppy aroma. Smells like a lager. Nice color. Little to no hop presence. No thanks.
