Bubbly head on top of a gold brew. Aroma is sweet and bready. Flavor is bready and grainy a a touch of spicy hop finish. Something was a little off to me. Perhaps it was the flaked rice? It was crisp however.

On tap at the brewery. Thick spongy head, yet very little carbonation. Smells like musty hay. Bright golden color. Simple sweet and a crisp abrupt finish.

Draft at Fred’s Rivertown. Pours a bright golden straw with a thick and creamy white head. Plenty of rising bubbles. Mild grass and big old buttery diacetyl on the nose. More of that grass and plenty more of the butter on the mid-palate. Tingly, crisp, smooth, refreshing, and buttery. The numbers are a bit generous in this rating, but if they clean up the diacetyl, this’ll rate a 3.2. So there.
