3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On draught at Brave Horse Tavern. The beer is a clear golden color with a thin white head that burns away steadily. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of hops, spice and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of herbal hops and grainy malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a subtle rye and hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Light grain, a little rye, a little light earthy hops with a touch of fruit to boot. Pours golden, thin to no head. Flavors of light spicy rye, a hint of grain, bread, light pepper, a hint of fruity hops in the finish with light bitterness. Light, pleasant, easy to drink, not flawed.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draft at NCBC. Pours a clear medium gold with a loose white head that doesn’t stick around for too long. Mild toasty dark peppery rye nose--nice light-touch incorporation of that note. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Toasty, nutty, dark peppery rye mid palate, but it’s a fairly restrained note. Mild finish. Nice lighter side rye beer.
