Courtesy my Secret Santa. Thanks! Now to the beer. Blah. Was not able to finish this. Aroma was the saving grace of this beer. Sweet honey, Belgian yeast and cotton candy. You could almost smell sweetness and candi sugar. Smelled kind of like a Bit O’ Honey. Pour was a flat hazy orange with no bubbles or head. Taste was way too sweet. Candi sugar, strong sticky honey and bubble gum. Very sticky. Mild carbonation. Tasted like liquid sugar with huge doses of honey.

Crisp, very slightly hazy golden coloured body with a glow of honey and a very thin, faint off-white head. Aroma of yeast, light grass and honey, some caster sugar and a bit of very light spices - fairly mild. Full-bodied; Rich honey flavour with a lot of yeast and bananas and a nice malty bite from wheat and flowers. Aftertaste shows a very polished yeast strain along with some nice sugars from fruit and honey and a subdued but noticeable grass and herb bite. Overall, a nice beer that doesn’t look so great nor smell amazing, but the taste is very elegant and reminiscent of a true belgie with a smooth finish showing relatively good complexity. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Crystal City Wine Shop in Arlington, Virginia on 28-April-2015 for US$3,69 sampled at home in Washington just a few steps away on 25-August-2015.

Pours a hazy yellow golden color with white head. Yeast, little banana, little clove, and wheat on the nose; follows onto the palate. Light bodied. Finishes with wheat and fruit.

Stinky aromas, not very pleasant, subtle banana, subtle honey. Mostly clear orange with a fairly lasting white head. Pretty dry, somewhat smokey, fruity. Medium bodied.

Bottle. The look is clear, white head, and golden in color. The smell is fruity, sweet, honey, wine, mead, and good. The taste is smoother but lighter not as sweet. Ok. Nothing special.

Taste- Has a nice malt flavor that masks the ABV well Palate- A medium bodied beer with moderate carbonation. Overall- A nice brew that should be given a try.
