Light brown. Looks like the gulf after a hurricane. Aroma of toast, chocolate, chocolate malt, cocoa. Thin watery texture. Very flavorful.

Growler. Pours a clear brown body with a nice tight bubbled light brown head that slowly receded to a thin covering. The nose is nicely chocolaty with minimal roastiness, slightly sweet, just a touch of hops, and a little nuttiness. The flavor is just slightly sweet with nice chocolate malt and some lighter toffee notes up front. Fades to a lightly hoppy and coffee laced finish. Light to medium bodied with moderate soft carbonation and some lingering coffee and caramel notes. Pretty nice sessionable Porter. It was not a chore to drink a whole growler of this in an evening.

Draft sample at the 2nd Annual Rocket City Brewfest. Red-brown with a creamy tan head that is lasting and had good lace. Aroma of nut and malt. The flavor found nut, coco, and light coffee. Light body and slightly sweet.

growler from cbk on 3/21/2010. crystal clear mahogany brown colored pour with a small off white head and some spotty marks of foam. it smells of grain, ash, faint chocolate, coffee-like nuttiness, caramel, soured milk, herbaceous and spicy dry hops. it smells and tastes ’green’. it lacks depth and dimension. light bodied with a sharp mouth feel. 6/3/6/3/12/3.0

Draft at the Rocket City Brewfest. Clear brown body with a tan head. Nutty aroma. Thin palate, light sweetness. Some dryness with just a touch of astringency.

growler, courtesy of cheeseman. pours light brown, thin off-white head. Aroma, toffee, light smoke and caramel. Flavors, body was rather thin for a porter, resembled more a brown. Touch of caramel malts, roasted, hints of coffee and butterscotch with a touch of bitter hops mixed with caramel in the finish.

Growler. Pours a mahogany body with a tan creamy head. Dry and roast y coffee tones,. A Mild toast character, very rough coffee hint metallic on the finish. An average porter.
