COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Indian Summer is a light profile American-style wheat ale spiced with Orange Peel and Coriander. Our recipe uses a mix of wheat and pale barley. This beer is very lightly hopped to allow the spices to shine through. Clean fermenting yeast produce a very dry, crisp base to further accentuate the spices. The aroma has a distinct citrus note without being overly fruity.

Bottled, thanks Cletus! Clear deep golden with coarse bubbles that fails to form a head. Perfumy lemon aroma. Mid-sweet with clean, hard mouthfel and light body. Very simplistic abd sketchy beer, a session beer without drinkability.

UPDATED: FEB 2, 2010 (Rating #5300) Bottle… Hazy yellow ale with a small, fizzy, white head. Fruity, grainy aroma offers pale wheat and citrus. Medium-bodied with stinging carbonation. Pretty bland stuff… a touch grainy and brothy. Crisp, refreshing finish.

Bottle @ home, courtesy of Cavie. Thanks Travis! A touch hazy, yellow-orange appearance with a fluffy, off white head. Slightly spicy, moderate orange-lemon citrusy, effervescent, wheat malty nose. Bubbly, lemon-orange citrusy, orange peel, spicy, coriander, light wheat malty flavor. Pretty easy drinking, nice wheat.
