jodyperkins (65), Mississippi, USA Jun 25, 2007 Techinically a wheat beer - but it’s only 1/3 wheat. This beer is promoted as their version of light beer - the craft answer to BMC.
It pours a very light gold color without much of a head. It was more similar to an American light lager than an ale. Not very strong - not much malt or hop flavor. Very light and easy to drink.
Foxbush (352), Richmond, Virginia, USA Oct 14, 2007 Another beer at the Mellow Mushroom. This was the first and the least enjoyed. The wheat beers are not for my palate. The yellow color was clear and a nice head. I just was not impressed. I moved on to Amber Jacques. kp (6200), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Sep 1, 2007 Updated: Feb 24, 2008Date: 03/23/2005

Dansting (222), Overland Park, Kansas, USA Jun 27, 2007 From a Party Pig. Poured a slightly cloudy golden color with a light white head. Very slight lacing. Very pleasant malty caramel aroma. Above average mouthfeel. Flavor was pretty wheaty, with a malty kick to it. A lot better than I expected, especially since I’m not a big wheat ale fan. But this is a solid wheat beer. pojo41 (300), Hattiesburg, Mississippi, USA Jun 6, 2007 Party Pig. Golden-colored and mostly clear. Good head but, it dissipates quickly. Crisp, with a slightly bitter after-taste. Thin mouth feel. Has a wheaty aroma. Not nearly as good as the Blue Heron.
