3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle as Deep South Pale Ale from Julie who got it at Spec’s in San Antonio. Pours light amber with a slight off-white head. Aroma of lightly roasted malt with some citrus? hop. Med body. It’s APA roast malt, and there seems to be strong hop - but the hop is like fruit and pecan? A rather unique APA IMHO. Wouldn’t be my goto beer, but few APAs would. Certainly a good bitter, hoppy finish.

0.5 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 1/20
This beer has a flavor strong in hops. It leaves a bad aftertaste in my mouth making me think the beer is stale. One of these was enough for me the remaining ones I have will to make beer bread.

12 oz bottle. Misty orange brown with white froth. Nose is orange peel, honey and faint pine. Crisp and clean, showing some substance for a Pale. Taste is lemon pith, orange and clover with a papery finish. Nice to know there’s something worth drinking if i ever find my way to Mississippi.

Bottle - labelled "Deep South Pale Ale" - via Ale in the Mail. Light copper color - mostly clear. Mostly hoppy aroma. Very good - very hoppy. Hoppiness is actually more like an IPA than a regular pale ale.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle, labeled as Deep South Pale Ale. Aromas are light, but caramel and malt and a bit of citrus. A little buttery before the bitterness from the hops set in. The carbonation is a bit too high.
