I think my bottle is infected, because it tastes like a sour ale or something.

A clear reddish brown beer with a small off-white head. The aroma is caramel and nuts. The flavor is pure malt, not a lot of pecan coming through.

Aroma is a nice pecan, caramel. Flavor is light pecan with a mild nut. Aroma is much more entice than the flavor. The finish is light chocolate and nut. Overall this beer would be great if there was more body and more nutty flavor. The ABV needs bumped up about 2% and this would be a much better beer.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Light toasted aromas of nuts (pecan I guess) and caramel malt. Pours a light brown color with minimal head. Good flavors of sweet pecans but not overpoweringly so. Almost creamy mouthfeel and light as well. An easy drinker and pleasant brew.

On tap at Rock and Run 4-5-14. Pours a clear hazelnut brown color with a minimal off white head with decent lacing. Aroma has the nutty pecan presence as well as some caramel sweetness and some breadcrust. Taste is very similar to aroma with the the caramel sweetness followed by the nutty flavor and some bready malt along with a minimal hop bitterness. Finishes semi dry. Mouthfeel is watery with a light body and moderate carbonation. Very easy drinking and light for a brown ale. Decent enough.

c/o GreatDane1632. Thanks again Dane!
Aroma - sweet, roasted nut, caramel, and toast quality
Appearance - nice amber body color; the liquid is clear, with some a tiny amount of nucleation; the beige fills up about 1 1/2" and slowly fades into a thin layer of foam
Taste - is a nice composite of caramel and nuttiness, the flavor is very close to an ESB of solid quality. It’s considered a Brown ale, but I’m not really picking up on that.
Palate - the body is closer to thin than medium; the texture is a sort of thin syrupyness; the carbonation average; the finish leaves a nice sweet toasty nutty flavor

Dark brown in the glass, beige head. The beer smells smooth, nice malty. In the beginning it is smooth, malty, nutty. The mainpart is dry, letting the pecan-nuts with the hints of roasted malts develop its whole flavour. The aftertaste is malty dry, small hints of sweetness, nice bitter ending.
A nice Nutbrown Ale, full in flavour and not too sweet! --> 14/13/14/14

Opaque body the color of iced tea w/ off-white head. Nutty & dark malt nose. Sweet roasty pecan & molasses flavors. A nice Southern brew.

Appears dark brown mahogany. Smells less malty a little nutty. Pecan flavors come through this medium carbed beer. Medium mouth Feel. I don’t get the bitter I’ve come to expect from nut beers. Solid 3

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a brilliant mahogany brown with a 1-inch tan head, that dissipates rather quickly, settling in at 1/16th inch. Caramel with hints of roasted nuts and restrained malt in the nose with an ever-so-slight sour note. Medium-light body with suggestions of cocoa and toasted bread. Very little hops. Expecting more pecan on the palate. Slight, pleasant lingering, with restrained, but balanced malt and hop notes. No Belgian lace. Nice brown ale, unfortunately, it is not as moreish as would be expected of a Brown Ale.
