Aroma: malty without much complexity; Appearance: amber with thin, white head that dissipates quickly; Taste: also malty but with unpleasant aftertaste and thin mouthfeel; Palate: medium body with odd finish; Overall: not interested in buying again.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours amber brown, with a lasting effervescent cream head. Nose is pecan and malt. Taste is brown malt and nutty. There's a smooth, yet crisp mouthfeel. A slight dryness that seems English in style, and some sweetness on the tongue as well. Pretty good.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Very good Nut Brown Ale. Love the pecan flavor that really comes through nicely. This is a very lightly hopped beer that allows the caramel malts to really shine threw. If you have not tried Lazy Magnolia’s Southern Pecan nut brown ale I highly recommend it.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
4.5%ABV. Brown ale.
Tapped out brown. 30°SRM.
Nose has roasted but aromas with hazelnuts, macadamias and pecans.
Mouthfeel is soupy. Palate has toasted malty goodnes. Little phenolic. Sweet with candy, brown sugar. Nuttiness encompassing pecans, Brazil nuts, macadamias and hazelnuts. Yes, so overall you get all the flavors of a pecan pie.
Finish is beery and so very smooth
Not one for brown ales, I find myself inexplicably attracted to this one. A little too sweet for me but the richness gets me and keeps me sipping.
Goes on Favorites List!

Bottle at Graceland, Memphis with a peanut butter and banana sandwich. This was malty sweet, a little nutty. Over all just a typical nut brown, which is a pretty boring style.

Do I really need to leave a comment just to rate this beer? This is annoying. Do I have enough characters yet?
