3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12oz bottle. Pours mahogany with red hues. Aroma of caramel, sugar daddy (candy), nuts. Flavor of caramel, bread, pecans, vanilla, brown sugar. A fairly sweet and bread brown ale. Sweet and nutty like a pecan sweet roll. Not bad flavors, but a bit too sweet for my liking.

Pours clear amber with a 2 finger quickly dissipating head. Weak lacing. Aroma is biscuits and slight pecan. Flavor is underwhelming. A little nutty, a little yeast, some plain bread. Very slight hop notes gives a tiny floral, spicy kick but it's hard to detect. Easy drinking and not bad overall.

2.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle at home from Steve N. Basically a mild brown ale with faint roasted pecan in the nose, middle, and finish. Very light bodied, watery palate. A bit more malt and sweetness would have brought out the pecans more. Lacks oomph. Almost no hop character.

Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation - overcooked, semi drying close.
So so affair but definately the best beer I’ve rated from Mississippi at this point in time!

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Malted grain, caramel, a bit of earth, nuts, a hint of vanilla, and subtle floral hops in the aroma. I wouldn’t be able to tell there are pecans in it from the nose alone. The mouthfeel is silky, with prickling carbonation and a light body. The taste is gently bitter, with nutty and malty sweetness rounding it out. Barley, floral hops, and a bit of nuts to finish off. The pecans become a lot more evident in the aftertaste, which decays into a fruity sensation. Not as exciting as it sounds (I’m a big proponent of pecans), but absolutely pleasant and very drinkable.

Got a 12oz bottle at Fresh Thyme market in Cincinnati. Pours clear brown with a fairly thin, soapy head. Aromas are light, but sweet and malty. Body seems a bit on the thin side, with fizzy carbonation. Flavor is soda-like, sweet...a bit weak, to be honest. There are some nutty notes, which you would expect from a brown ale. I suppose I get a little of the pecan flavor—mostly in the finish—but I would have expected the pecan flavor to be a lot more interesting for the way it’s being hyped here. Mostly it just seems like an average brown ale; it’s a bit uninspired. I love pecans, so I was hoping for more from this beer.

On tap. Pours clear light brown with no head. Aromas of malt. Nut certainly comes through on the flavor, with smooth sweet malt.
