Claiming to be the World’s best bottled lager-aren’t there rules about saying things like that ! A golden pleasant lager with nothing too bad to say about it but nothing too good either. But a world beater-you cannot be serious!

One of the best pils in the uk. It is not an ale but if you want a cold light lager nothing much gets close

Can from Spar. Generic pilsener. Lemony hops, inoffensive grainy aroma and taste, light bitterness, no off flavours. Mouthfeel a little thin. Okay.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Maria (9572) - Thisted, DENMARK - DEC 18, 2008
It is golden with a white head and a weak aroma with notes of flower and malt. The flavour is very mild with light notes of flower, malt and caramel. Even if it is rather weak in both aroma and flavour, it is quite tasty.
2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 JonMoore (1581) - Loughborough, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - MAR 9, 2005
Pale golden colour with a slim white head. Reasonable, grainy, sweet malty aroma. Bland but inoffensive taste I suppose. I suspect the competition wasn’t up to much, when this won its ’world’s best’ title.
2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 Mungo (2472) - Southampton, Hampshire, ENGLAND - FEB 28, 2005
Bottle (part of a Federation selection pack). Clear yellow. Fruity estery notes, pepper. Light body with clean finish. Doesnt really flow together, taste lets aromas down.
2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 leaparsons (7080) - Leicester, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - MAY 2, 2005
Can from Spar. Golden with a fairly large fluffy white head. Aromas are sweet grain with harsh alcohol considering its 5%. Hops spices redeem it a little. Flavours are sweet grain and very peppery hops. Unbalanced and washed out. Not the "Award Winning" lager that the writing on the can claims.
2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 cgreb (371) - Marburg, GERMANY - SEP 18, 2008
