500ml. bottle from Peluso. The color is amber with a thin off white head. The aroma or lack of it is hops. The taste also of hops, citrus fruits ,herbs and some malt. The finish is weak not enough bitterness for an I.P.A.

UPDATED: MAR 23, 2010 There is a sweet malty aroma with hops overall dominating. There is a nice head with a clean ruby amber color. The IPA flavor is subtle in comparison to an American microbrew, but the flavor of sweet and bitter clean malts/hops shine through. Not flavored as the Canadian IPA norm tastes, but still hints of it.

Bottle [500ml] courtesy of JulienHuxley. Pours a hazy, very bubbly, orange-amber with a large lasting frothy off-white head. Decent lacing. Aroma of light floral hops and caramel malt, slightly musty, along with some fruit and grass. Flavour of cereal grain, caramel malt, light floral hops, nuts and a light vegetal note. Decent dry bitter finish. Average to medium bodied. Not bad, not great, just O.K.

Bouteille 500ml.

500 mL bottle. Copper-brown with a small but persistent beige head. Very mild aroma is sweet with a little UK hops in there as well. This certainly isn’t an American-style IPA, but I’m not sure that it’s really a British one either. The hops just aren’t there. There’s some caramel sweetness, and a touch of grainy chocolate. Just not much hops. Maybe a little cardboard in there at the end. (Could be my imagination). It’s not a terrible beer by any means, and it’s probably decent on tap. Just not much to it is all.
