Pours a brown amber with an almond head with good lacing. Aroma is caramel and hop. Taste is mild hop, caramel and malt. A little out of balance and not very complex. Average beer.

Bouteille 500ml.

500 mL bottle. Copper-brown with a small but persistent beige head. Very mild aroma is sweet with a little UK hops in there as well. This certainly isn’t an American-style IPA, but I’m not sure that it’s really a British one either. The hops just aren’t there. There’s some caramel sweetness, and a touch of grainy chocolate. Just not much hops. Maybe a little cardboard in there at the end. (Could be my imagination). It’s not a terrible beer by any means, and it’s probably decent on tap. Just not much to it is all.

Bottle from a trade with Boutip. Pours hazy amber color with off white head. Mild floral hop aroma with some mustiness and dankness. Flavors of mild English hops and pale malts. Medium body with moderate carbonation and a somewhat dry finish. Thanks Phil.

Bottle… Cloudy amber/orange ale with a small, creamy, white head. Good retention. The nose offers tropical fruits and musk. Medium-bodied with prickly carbonation. Earthy hop bitterness and toasted, toffee malt sweetness balance out quite nicely. Lengthy, bittersweet finish. The bitterness sticks around for a while. Bottle courtesy of smith4498!

Bottle - 500ml. Pours a hazy brown body with a thin beige frothy head. Decent malty/hoppy aroma with caramel hints. Its hoppy taste is relatively sharp, but it also lacks complexity. Its ends with a good bitter/oaky finish. Enjoyable, average IPA.

Bottle 09.12.12 dark clear copper. Med carb, small head. Finish is sweet not that much of bitterness It’s surprising for the style. I taste citrus. Not bad.

Bottle: Poured a medium amber color ale with a medium size foamy head with OK retention and not much lacing. Aroma of fruity ester and lightly bitter hops with some light floral notes also discernible. Taste is not as bitter as most IPA I know and then to be more of a English floral type of IPA with some fruity ester and medium caramel malt. Body is about average with good carbonation. OK but really nothing to write home about.

500 ml bottle from Marche Jovi, served at cellar temperature in a tulip glass.

App.: Clear copper with a fairly nice light tan head. Aroma: Restrained, some earthy, stark malts, some earthy British hops, light raisins, dark dried fruits and other fruitiness, some burnt sugar and deep toffee/treacle, fairly good malt with limited hops. Palate: Medium body and moderate effervescence. Flav.: Slightly nutty, earthy malts, some light earthy hops, not much of the fruitiness found in the nose, minerals; dry with fair bitterness and a light earthy malt finish.

Quite British in style. Fair.

5oo ml bottle at Saucisserie BDF, 4,19$. Very fruity and yeasty, sweet but without any serious hop bitterness to balance it (subtle, too subtle, until you realize there’s really nothing worth searching out deeper). Thin, weakly malted. Bland and I won’t buy again even if I love IPAs.
