Oakes (7032), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Jul 17, 2005 Dark reddish-amber colour. Bright aroma of apricot, orange, crystal malt and a little bit of nutmeg. Sweet flavour, flowery with hints of toast, oranges, chocolate, light spice and dusty yeast. Complex, fun, distinctive. beerbuzzmontreal (2769), Montreal, Quebec, Canada Jul 3, 2005 Pours a gorgeous clear ruby color with a ring of white lace on top of it. Mild aroma of honey and spices with underlying malt. Flavor of honey and spices, it’s subtle, yet very enjoyable. The body is light with an oily and dry texture, the carbonation is moderate. Very interesting beer. MartinT (4458), Montreal, Quebec, Canada Nov 10, 2005 The Lure:
Stately sticky foam crowns the floral honey sweetness. Cherries emerge from the prevalent fruitiness.

The Festivities:
Very mild but prickly carbonation is overcome by the powerful honey. Cherries lay on the soil, hit by some alcohol warmth. Finishes smoothly and quietly, apart from the rampant honey of course. A fun but rough and ready version of Bedondaine’s sweet creation.
Transcendence:
The bears are smiling. tiggmtl (4178), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada Jul 19, 2005 Floral, orange, coriander, spicy aroma with doughy, thick, sweet malts beneath. Clear amber-brown with decent cover of tan head that lasts nicely. Floral, citrus, perfumey apricot flavour with fresh underlying lightly botter malt body. Medium body with fair carbonation. Enjoyed on tap at the brewpub with Oakes, Rastacouere and Ungstrup.
