Dégustée en fût au Festival Bières et Saveurs 2005 à Chambly. De couleur brune-ambrée et Nez malté de caramel sucré aux notes rôties, léger de noix, avec des traces de caoutchouc brûlé et de houblon herbeux. Moyennement ronde en bouche avec un pétillement moyen et une texture un peu crémeuse avec quelqus notes huileuses. Faibles notes fruitées (pommes) avec des petites traces de caoutchouc et d’épices (cannelle) lors de l’entrée en bouche suivi d’un goût malté de caramel doux légèrement rôti et aux faibles notes brûlées avec des notes de biscuits puis en finale l’on retrouve une légère amertume de houblon herbeux ainsi que des notes de noix asséchantes. Post-goût moyen et aux notes sèches, légèrement amer de rôti et de houblon herbeux avec des traces de noix.

on tap at brewpub. relatively clear light brown-red tint, creamy off-white head, goodretention/lacing. nuts, light pine notes, fruitiness, peppery, light booze. average to soft carbonation, medium body, medium long grapefruity finish. nice brown ale.

Keg. Light biscuity malt, slightly nutty. Sweet and tangy. Fresh hop flavours.

Draught Moose & Mountie Spectapular, Sydney. Pours a thick brown body, tan head. Sweet biscuity malts. Nice and nutty and chocolatey. Some grassy leafy hops in amongst it, with a firm bitterness to finish. Quite good!

tap at taphouse. solid and sweet malts, with a decent hoppiness to it that lingers. decent brown ale.

Tap. Great beer. Aromas of caramel, and apple. Taste is sweet, with good length. Palate is velvety, and medium bodied. Brown colour, with a frothy white head.

Bière à 5%, de style brune. Présence d’arôme de café. Bonne équilibre, et excellente amertûme à la finale. Dégusté au Mondial de la Bière à Montréal. Surprenant comme produit!

Amber brown with large, rocky, foamy head. Neat , presentable ale.
Fresh, citric hop aroma on top. Sweet sugar malts behinds.
Woody brown with light hint of burn. Green, raw hopps are shown yet they are well covered by, meaty, sticky solid brown malts. Carbos are a bit on sharp side. Over all quiet refreshing.

Bu sur place, en échation (5oz). Brune terre cuite, collet moyen. Bon arome d’houblon et de noisette. Goût d’houblon amère plaisant avec un soupson de noix.

Nutty and caramel malts are marred by some lightly vegetal cabbagey DMS. Clear burnished copper coloured body is topped by a low, dense and lasting off white head. Caramel and nutty malt flavours with almost imperceptible bitterness that simply keeps the sweet malts in check. Slight DMS especially in the aftertaste. Medium body with fair carbonation and a very soft, slick texture. Sampled at Mondial 2006.
