Bottle @ YNWA, Kolding.
Pours a nice, deep redish chestnut black with a medium, frothy, off-white head. Fair duration. Aroma has milky chocolate, softly roasted malts and light sweetness. Medium carbonation, fine dry mouthfeel. Soft and elegant flavours, light milky tartness, dry, roasted, some chocolate. Long, lingering dryness. Well composed and light vinious in the finish.

Cask, Peterborough Fest 11. Near black with a beige foam. Aromas earthy, rich roast coffee with liquorice and soy. Caramel with some chocolate. Smells strangely of rock pools. Flavours are sweet coffee with caramel and soy. Bitter grapefruit with earthy notes. Liquorice with raisins and dark chocolate bitterness. A really good stout.

Bottle from Great Grog. Nose is big milky, cheap vanilla sauce, chocolate, some pepper, weirdly vegetal also. Sour milk!? Sweet lactose notes, some salty seaweed, liquorice, sticky bitter finish. Interesting, vegetal, very VERY odd, but not entirely unpleasant.

Shared 750ml bottle from the brewery itself. It pours a dark brown with light tan head. Aromas of coffee and chocolate. Very smooth. Dry, sweet and long finish. A very pleasant stout without the heaviness of this kind of beers. Very good!
