Bottled. A black beer with a tan head. The aroma has notes of sweet and roasted malt as well as some chocolate. The flavor is sweet malty with strong notes of roasted malt combined with medium notes of chocolate and caramel, as well as light notes of licorice. The finish is dry and quite roasted.

Opaque black - brown beer, good pale tan head. Smooth palate with a crispy edge, dry. Fresh dark malt, a little roast and a trace of coffee. Mild minerals. Dash of malt cream. Mellow and minerally orange citrus hops. Finishes dry with a mild coffee aftertaste. A bit dry but a fresh porter. Hardly a sweet stout!

kramer (5800) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 3, 2015
Bottle. Pours a clear dark brown, almost black, body with a one finger fizzy brown head. The nose is really quite nice, very chocolaty and sweet with some nice roast and lactose. The flavor is pretty solid as well, nice clean lactose note without being overly sweet, milk chocolate, light roastiness, and a bit of light yeastiness on the finish. Medium bodied with soft fizzy carbonation and a lingering sweet finish. This was pretty darn good, very happy with this one, especially at a $4 price point.

Light cocoa scent. Creamy and bitter with a nice finish. Touch of velvet. A little sweet. Nice deep brown black color. Bottle
