3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle from Veux-Tu freshly picked and drank. A good tasting IPA, with lots of malt backbone holding back the 75 IBU impact until the last half of the bottle. Very good drinkability. Lots of head. Recommended.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
> Dusty, dry no specialty malt, non-sticky grassy APA
[ Bottle ][ 22oz ][ Marché des Saveurs Montréal ][ $7 ][ Globe ][ 5/27/14 ]
>> Pours hazy, tons of bottle sediment in this one that I tried to get to settle down as much as possible. Color is a bright peach golden. Beautiful white rocky foam with good retention. Nose is squashy, mild sugar, salt, soap. Taste is dry and grassy, lightly bitter, quite soapy. No stickiness, no sugar, no astringency, no nuttiness. Clean on the bitterness side of things but body is too chalky, dusty for me. Nice to have a no-nonsense IPA but the way this beer presents I would push for APA. Got this out of the refrigerated section at the store and drank it immediately. No bottle date.
>!< a bit too chalky, dusty, soapy; could do without being bottle refermented

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pale golden pour - tight white head. The aroma is lovely. Bright lemon/grapefruit with a bit of soft fruit. Some very lean pale malt and some crackery notes as well as the fresh hoppy notes. Clean and crisp with a nice lightly grassy finish.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: MAY 10, 2014 My Bottom Line:
Guava is puréed into plantain territory, and citrus fruit lead to coniferous resins for a highly drinkable, bright and perfumy India Pale Ale.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A sheet of foam settles atop the misty golden.
-While the aroma is as cleanly expressed as possible, it is also nicely restrained. This is not a gorgeous aroma because it is super intense. It’s gorgeous because it is clearly presented, very enticing and never becomes too much.
-Carbonation is frothy and soft. This doesn’t feel forced at all and is perhaps the feature that pushes this brew into world-class territory for me.
-The supportive pale malts offer a delicate roundness, and a touch of biscuity crunch.
-A few sandy, mineral edges add depth to the already salient hop character.
-Bitterness is not off the charts here, which facilitates subsequent sips and makes one want to stick to this brew for the evening.
-No need to look for complexity here; this is just pure hop clarity proposed within high drinkability. A truly enjoyable New World IPA, better than many PNW examples.

UPDATED: APR 17, 2014 2014-04-XX. Had this on tap in Montreal and Aylmer twice in a month and both were significant improvements over the cask. In did not take detailed notes . Brighter crisper citrus character throughout. Lovely stuff, i ordered more. +1 to aroma, flavour, and appearance.
2013-06-01. Lightly hazy bright orange body small white head. 3+ Aroma of tangerine, leafy green undertones, bits of apricot/tropical fruit character. Flavour is pleasantly hoppy, decent citrus character, light green leaf, muted resin. Light yeasty character as it warms. Average plus bodied palate, soft carbonation is pretty nice for a cask, but I think I want it on tap. 7/3/7/3/16 On cask at Benelux, Montreal

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
650mL bottle, pours a cloudy pale orange-tinted yellow with a small white head. Nose is full of citrus zest, floral hops, and dry crackery malt. Flavour brings out intensely floral hops, some dry citrus zest, more floral notes, and uber dry crackery malts. This is quite reminiscent of Hill Farmstead hoppy beers. Highly drinkable stuff. I could drink gallons of this stuff.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Pours a hazed gold with a large white head. Huge beautiful citrus on the nose, sticky and vibrant hitting the nose even while pouring. Medium bodied, big hops turn to a touch of paper and grain, but then move into nice astringent hop presence again with bit of an alcohol bite behind it. Long grapefruit into the finish. Nice stuff.
