Birra stout rifermentata in bottiglia, decisa ma equilibrata. Perfetta per arrosti selvaggina, o per carni rosse in generale ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

0.75l bottle from a supermarket in Monfalcone. Quickly forming a big nice almost fluffy dark beige head on top of a deep darker than cola brown body that’s packed with big grey sediments. The nose has sweet licorice pastilles with cocoa, mineral water, nuts and yeah, coca Cola. A little hint of ethanol as well if I’m not mistaking. Hmm.. Not the best stout I’ve tasted. It has a thin oily mouthfeel with a small prickling carbonation level. It’s really dry, almost no sweetness left in this what so ever. Again, licorice pastilles, lots of dry cocoa and cola in the taste. It’s a bit dusty and old - definitely earthy with chalky starchy potatoes. Well, this is definitely not a masterpiece of a beer, but I would still call it drinkable. 02.08.2013

A Mes rate. Bottle at Chris O’s "Has anyone seen my stool?" tasting.
Dirty brown colour with no head. My god, this was a wrongun. Bovil and cardboard mixed together. It actually looked like one of the beers from earlier in the day that had caught ceiling debris in it. Not good.
