decent for a style I dont usually prefer. Smells of bread yeast with some light banana. Pours hazy blond, no head or lacing. Taste has light bitterness, light sourness. Pretty low carbonation. Medium consistency. On tap at No One Writes to the Colonel.

(printemps 2006)

Pale yellow gold pour with a tight white head. Very cloudy. The nose is of clove and banana along with a little bit of light coriander as well. There is a touch of soft wheaty character and a little bit of light bitterness and a touch of soft peppery character. A little bit of lingering spiciness and a kiss of light citrus. The palate is a little bit watery but it’s decent.

draft - Pours hazy straw color and has an aroma of wheat and heavy yeast. The flavor is of sweet wheat malt, yeast, and coriander. It’s refreshing and overall a good wit beer.

650ml bottle from 16th St.Liquor in West Vancouver. Pours a cloudy yellow with a thin cap of off white head. Aroma is wheat, Belgian yeast, some clove, mild bubblegum and citrus. Flavour matches aroma except the citrus notes are a little more pronounced. Decent flavour but nothing exceptional going on here. Having had some Unibroue Chambly recently this one is inferior.

Bottle split with mcberko. Pours hazy golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma and flavour of belgian yeast and citrus fruits, with a mild hop finish. Not a lot else to say. Quite light and thin.
