Cloudy reddish-amber hue, with a white head, with a light fruity blackcurrant, sourish nose with some faint funk yeastiness, with a tart, lactic wildberries aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a yeasty, fruity juicy blackcurrant, wheaty character with some acidic ,sour fieldberry flavours, with a light tart blueberry, raspberry undertone, leading towards an acidic, blackcurrant, blackberry sourness finish.

A hazed slighly pinkish amber ale with a thick off white head. In aroma, funky fruits with light cream hitting red berries, quite nice. In mouth, a surprising fresh and smooth fruit beer, with light sour berries, lactic points, a bit of cassis lollipop. On tap at brewpub, August 15 2010.

A pint at the pub. This beer has a nice colour, purple, doesn’t have a big head. The aroma announces some sourness, that is finally what you get in the mouth. Refreshing, tasty, some tartness, very good beer, 7/10.

Slightly hazy violet red with a lasting frothy white head. Intense lactic nose of with herbs/ dark fruits undertone. Almost smell like goat milk! Light body, pretty acidic, mild, very refreshing. You do get the fruit but it’s hard to tell it’s blackcurrant. Very interesting summer thirst quenching brew, if you can get past the goaty nose...

Drank on tap (20 oz) at there brewpub, on August 24, 2010. Dark red currant, medium head. Aroma of redcurrant juice and malted wheat. Taste of juice red currant a little sour, wheat notes, dry aftertaste. Quite pleasant!
