Draught at Le Cheval Blanc, Montreal, June 8. Pours a very murky yellow-peach with an average size long-lasting creamy off-white head -- looks great. Aroma: Wowza! This smells amazing -- lots of hops and quite fruity along with yeast and herbs. Flavour of sweet malt, yeast and citrus hops and a big bitter finish. Medium bodied. Creamy mouthfeel. Simply fantastic!

Big on the fruity, citrusy hops. Juicy green leafy hops. The juiciness i find cut the bitterness and its not overpowering. Creamy mouthfeel and a soft carb. Touches of rye add a rounder finish, with some lovely pine, resin notes. Super session ale. But the 7% might differ.

Au mondial 2012. Cette bière est mon coup de cœur du mondial. Une belle robe jaunâtre avec une mousse crémeuse durable. Une tête de sunday aux cerises. Le nez est une belle compote d’agrumes, de citron et d’orange. Le nez invite a plonger dans le liquide. La bouche est soyeuse, crémeuse, le conditionnement à l’azote aidant. Les saveurs de houblons citronnées sont bien présentes. Un vrai bonheur.

Draft: Poured a clear pale yellow color male with a large enough foamy head with good retention and light lacing. Aroma of citrus and tropical fruits hops with lightly sweet malt base. Taste is dominated by an explosion of citrus notes with some of tropical fruit and even some fruity ester with lightly sweet malt base. Body is light for style with good carbonation. I really enjoyed the mix between some light pale malt with huge fruity hops aroma.

Hazy blonde with a huge creamy white head. Intrusive fruity aromas, very intense. Low to medium body, very creamy due to the nitro carbonation, well integrated bitterness, and a long fruity hop salad aftertaste. Highly quaffable glass of cream IPA! Different...

2012-06-08. Hazy pastel yellow, nice creamy white head. Lovely flavour, pleasant citrus is non-descript (sweet lemon?) but quite nice. Mild bitterness, very mild pale malt and wheat like notes. Something else I can’t pin down. Bitterness grows in the finish. Pleasant aroma, lemon-citrus and hints of yeast. Very smooth medium bodied palate. Lovely. On tap at Cheval Blanc, Montreal

Mondial de la bière 2012 - Bière couleur de paille, légèrement voilée et coiffée d’un fin, mais dense, col crème traçant une large dentelle au verre. Des arômes très houblonnés de résine et d’agrumes. Belle amertume affirmée. Elle est de texture crémeuse, à l’effervescence lisse et se termine sur des arômes bien honnêtes.

Mondial 2012. Une superbe robe jaune chamboulée de toutes parts. Une tête aspirée vers les hautes sphères de la beauté. Des parfums éloquents. Des houblons fabriqués par la fraîcheur et par les fruits. Une brise tropicale qui fait oublier la lourdeur de ce dôme bétonné. Des saveurs habilement montées et en équilibre. Des houblons aromatiques et amérisants posés sur des éclats maltés. Une sensualité qui chavire mes papilles. Un corps bien poussé par les bulles, une harmonie bien crémeuse. Une finale contrôlée et amère. Des fleurs résineuses comme la main caressante d’une guerrière effarouchée.
