Draught at Le Cheval Blanc. Pours black with an average to large lasting creamy/frothy tan head and good lacing on the glass -- looks lovely. Great aroma of roasted malt and coffee foremost followed by lactic notes and light leafy hops. Delicious flavour of roasted malt, coffee, cream and some chocolate. Average bitter finish. Medium+ bodied, creamy mouthfeel. A wonderful Oatmeal Stout -- I loved it.

Pitch black with a two inches creamy tan head. Nice choclate milk aromas with a touch of roasted grains. Medium body, smooth, creamy, grainy (in a good way) with a long roasty finsih. Super session stout. Well done.

A nice stout, with a typical black beer look. Aroma and taste of roasted malt and coffee. Very enjoyable !

From la maison (which merits them an extra point). Perfect darkness seemed to reign in this glass as no living soul could be seen through it. On this pitch black throne reigned a beautiful beige head which furiously menaced my nostrils with coffee and light vanilla aromas. Roasted coffee glided on top of a demonic creamy texture. Moderate chocolate completed the pact and bewitched me... until long after the glass was empty.

Paid by the Pub at the end of a beer tasting evening with PrimeMinister. Perfectly opaque black body topped with a lasting beige creamy head. Malty aroma with roasted coffee notes. Taste is very well balanced. Flavors are mainly malty and coffeeish. Mild and creamy texture. Fair bitter/roasty finish. Enjoyable creamy stout.
