Dutch70 (48), USA May 7, 2006 Nice golden appearance, hoppy aroma, but very watery and too bitter in my opinion...not very good
robinvboyer (1071), Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, Canada May 31, 2008 lovely hoppy aroma lots of citrus, and some slight piney aromas. Great flavour, just a great pale ale, excellent stuff. rederic (1513), montréal, Quebec, Canada Dec 12, 2006 Named Pale Ale Gold, slight hazy honey gold hue, with a white head, spicy floral hops nose, with a piney, grassy accent, pale malt note in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a flowery grassiness character, faint sweet pale malt, with some piney, earthy grassy, leafy notes, a hint of resinous, leading towards a juicy hops bittering finish. (Rating #486) hopscotch (4679), Vero Beach, Florida, USA May 6, 2006 Draft... Clear, amber ale with a mid-sized, creamy, white head. Bland, almost nondescript nose. Digged deep to find hints of citrus and fuzzy fruit. Mild, peppery, earthy hops. Medium bitter flavor with a touch of caramel and/or pilsener malts. Medium-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and fizzy carbonation. Finishes crisp and clean. Refreshing... if not spectacular.
