Sep 18, 2006 Pours hazy orange with bright copper tone, fine creamy head. Soft aroma, flowery , herbal nose. Pleasant gentliness. Sweet meadow, herbal charcter, pollen in finish. Soft drinkable ale. It was missing a bit hops at end to be complete.

Aug 13, 2006 Hazy light gold with a thin creamy white head. Aroma of butterscotch and strawberry, cloying. In mouth, a sweet wheaty malt, with a good rye finale, oily mouthfeel, a bit metallic in finish. Medium bodied. On tap, August 5, 2006.

Jul 12, 2006 Clear amber with a very short lived white head. Spices bouquet with some banana in the background. Taste is a good example of the Saison genre, spicy, dry bread, not very fruity at all, lively in the mouth. A bit thin. One of my favourite brew from this brewpub. Recommended to any Saison lover. It’s a good thing that it’s rarely on the menu, it gives me more time to visit other places such as work, grocery, and other stuff of that nature.

Jun 29, 2006 Bu sur place, 12 oz. Blonde brumeuse, mini collet. Arome de malte et de seigle plaisant. Petit goût de seigle, un peu sûr, arrière goût légèrement amère.

Jun 7, 2005 Belle couleur ambrée et opaque aux teintes orangées, abondante mousse blanche presque blanche et adhérant remarquablement bien à la paroi du verre. Arômes initialement fruités rappelant les pêches et les litchees, suggérant ensuite la vive impression d’embrasser un bouquet de feuilles de coriandres, frais et laiteux. Des notes phénoliques et partiellement épicées s’en suivent pour finalement exposer clairement la présence du seigle. Ne comporte pas les typiques parfums sauvages et de grange donc j’associe habituellement au style mais renferme assez de composantes similaires pour mériter son étiquette. Beau corps d’épaisseur moyenne. Gomme baloune en bouche sur une noble présence d’épices non clairement signées. Finale passablement amérisante plutôt plaisante mais probablement trop amer pour le style. Aucune trace d’alcool n’est présente, du début à la fin. En fût et d’une fraîcheur remarquable au pub, 7 juin 2005.

Nov 4, 2004 Sampled at the brewpub with tiggmtl. Hazy apricot, little head and slight sour-spicy nose. Spicy oregano on the tongue, heavy carbonation..quite bitter and fairly sour/pungent late. Dry. So-so.

Oct 8, 2004 Updated: Jun 10, 2005Coriander milkiness and curaçao bitterness paint an impressionist basket of oranges...A dry rye can be interpreted in the background, but it is a second-tier participant...Bananas diversify the fruitiness but cannot ground the surging spicy bitterness, which is prolonged into a vibrant aftertaste...More and more leaving the first impression I had of being on the verge of overindulging in the spices...One of their best creations...
