on tap. clear light copper-red with a small off-white cap, little retention. toasted and lightly roasted malts, hint of acidity, tea, fruitiness, dry fruit bitterness, some sort of acridness. wel balanced by peppery yeast and light to medium grassy hopping. average carbonation, light body, interesting acrid finish.

A unique recipe which includes both tea and juniper. The result produces a quickly headless, clear reddish liquid whose flavour profile is idiosyncratic with its strong peppery, grainy juniper presence. Characterful toasty base does not impose too heavy a body. Almost crisp even in its graininess. No acidity to disturb the balance, restrained sweetness and the softest earthy, leafy finishing hops. Well-made!
