(Rating #2609) presario (2959), Calgary, Alberta, Canada

This generous coffee-infused Stout knew how to please with its roasty espresso notes, cozy mouthfeel and well-levelled bitterness. A very drinkable and flavorful pint of Stout, this was.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A creamy sheet of foam decorates the nitroed blackness.
-This recipe must be different from what Lubière had (I presume) since there was an addition of espresso coffee and red cocoa in mine.
-Although coffee is present throughout in the flavor profile, it knows its boundaries and never overwhelms.
-Chocolate is shy but present.
-The nitrogenated mouthfeel is comfy because there is substance within.

In mouth, sweet chocolate and coconuts, light burned toasts. Coconut is off-putting, vegetable and cloying. Tasted at brewpub, August 2 2008.
