On tap at Le Corsaire. The color is a hazy orange with a thin beige head. The aroma is weak, some hops and fruits. It gets better with the taste it is very bitter and I like bitter beers,a lot of hops, citrus fruits, malt. It has a nice finish in the mouth.

On tap.
Pours dark golden/brown, with some white head. Aroma: not too much to say. Taste: citrus, hops, water. Not too bad, but not very good either. Not enough flavors, lack of character.

473ml can. The interesting leafy noble-English-hop profile is pretty much stealing the show here. The malt backbone offers some distant cookie notes but it is either a little shy or, probably, clouded by the hops, but the beer still feels quite balanced. And enjoyable. And easy to drink. And with a long dry aftertaste... Very good light stuff. And I’m happy with the price I paid: 11,99$ for 4 cans of 473ml, or 3,29$ each. It’s funny but I don’t often see, in Québec, 500 ml micro-brewery bottles sold at such a low price; they’re often 3,99$ and even more often 4,99$ each. I think I can let go 27ml for the price difference. But this might be this brewer’s most pleasant offering, though...

2011-08-08. Lightly hazy orange amber body with an off white head. 3+ Flavour is pleasantly hoppy, modest citrus notes up front and moderate bitterness throughout. 6+ Modes hoppy aroma, mild grass and green leafy hop character. Light notes of lemon citrus. Average bodied palate. Simple but enjoyable, possibly my favourite of those I tried today. On tap at the brewpub, Levis
